Circuit Calibration Design Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-design Group is seeking a Circuit Calibration Design Engineer to join the Hardware Architecture Development team. This role involves engagement in the product development cycle from early architecture definition through to product release, focusing on silicon and system-level feature development, tradeoff analysis, and integration solutions.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring 4+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing architectures and algorithms for circuit calibration features while characterizing and modeling circuit behavior for both ATE and mission modes.
• Defining calibration software, firmware, and tools while optimizing calibration processes and costs.
• Partnering with ATE or SW teams to integrate the calibration process.
• Improving ATE to system correlation and addressing circuit PVT variations.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Deep understanding of analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit principles including noise analysis and stability.
• Experience in designing calibration hardware and software algorithms.
• Expertise in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal analyzers) and automated test systems (ATE).
• Knowledge of statistical methods for process optimization.
• Experience with Linux, Python, and Perl.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
