Chip Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Chip Design group in the Networking silicon team to perform verification of chip blocks and collaborate across design, architecture, firmware and validation. The role focuses on building reference models, simulation, and functional verification to meet specification and performance targets.
Experience Level
Entry-level — 0–3 years of experience in design verification.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include functional verification, model development, and cross-team collaboration.
- Work in a combined design and verification team developing core units within Networking silicon.
- Build reference models and verify and simulate chip blocks/entities to meet specifications and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Firmware and Post-Silicon validation teams.
Requirements
Key technical and professional requirements. Must-have items listed first; nice-to-have items follow.
- Proven experience in design verification.
- Deep knowledge of HDL (Verilog/VHDL).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: validated ASIC verification experience, knowledge of Specman, experience with SimVision.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
