Chip Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Networking Silicon engineering team in Tel Aviv to develop and verify high-speed, low-latency chip controllers for NVIDIA’s networking and GPU systems. The role focuses on building verification environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure chip functionality and quality.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — 0–4 years of ASIC verification experience.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities for this role include:

  • Design and implement verification environments and testbenches for chip controllers.
  • Create and execute verification plans, tests, and regressions to validate functionality.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and firmware teams to debug and resolve issues.
  • Analyze results, track coverage metrics, and drive closure of verification gaps.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and tools.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 0–4 years of proven ASIC verification experience.
  • High proficiency in English and effective team communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive work style, and commitment to quality.
  • Experience building or using verification environments and methodologies.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Specman.
  • Knowledge of HDL such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Familiarity with industry protocols (I2C, GPIO, AMBA).

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Communication Engineering.
