Role Summary

The Chip Design Engineer will join NVIDIA's Switch Silicon team, focusing on verification and design roles. This position involves designing and verifying advanced Switch Silicon chips in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with a requirement of 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Working in a combined design and verification team on switch silicon core units.
  • Planning micro-architecture for RTL and simulation environments.
  • Designing and verifying RTL units based on architectural specifications with a focus on power, area, and performance.
  • Building reference models and simulating chip blocks according to specifications.
  • Handling RTL synthesis, timing, and supporting verification and silicon post TO activities.
  • Collaborating with architecture, micro-architecture, back-end, and firmware teams.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with strong academic performance.
  • 3+ years of experience in RTL design and/or dynamic verification.
  • Completion of programming and logic design courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
