Role Summary
The Characterization Engineer is the primary technical resource responsible for core level validation and characterization of new Power Management products (ICs) developed by Qorvo.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with chip Design and Application team to develop test and characterization plans for new ICs.
- Developing automated testing scripts for silicon bring-up and characterization.
- Conducting IC characterization and marginal testing against specifications.
- Collecting and analyzing characterization data and generating reports.
- Working closely with chip designers, production tests, system HW, and SW teams to debug any issues during validation/characterization.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Comprehensive experience with electrical systems and circuits.
- Experience in Electronics devices, components validation and testing (e.g., compliance, system level debug).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in technical English is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Background experience with NI/Agilent/Tektronix equipment and Oscilloscope.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, LabView/LabWindow is a plus.
