Role Summary

The Central Yield Engineer (Central YE) position focuses on driving end-to-end yield improvement initiatives in semiconductor manufacturing. This role involves analyzing data across various stages of production and ensuring process readiness to enhance product yield and quality.

Experience Level

Mid-level to Senior, typically requiring several years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing and yield engineering.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Central Yield Engineer include:

• Leading yield improvement initiatives through data analysis and technical insights.
• Executing yield strategies for process readiness and robustness.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address yield and quality gaps.
• Standardizing yield analysis methodologies across the organization.
• Participating in taskforces to resolve yield and quality issues.
• Applying statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Maintaining expertise in yield engineering and identifying innovation opportunities.
• Building relationships with global stakeholders and presenting technical updates.
• Traveling as needed to support yield learning and execution.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required for this role:

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and yield engineering.
• Experience in end-to-end data analysis and yield improvement.
• Strong hands-on capabilities in statistical analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a global environment.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related engineering discipline.
