Career Accelerator Program - Process Development Engineer (MS/PhD) - Dallas
Role Summary
This is a 12-month Career Accelerator Program (CAP) position in the TMG development organization for new college graduates. The role focuses on development, characterization, and optimization of MEMS resonator devices to achieve manufacturability, reliability, and required electrical performance for volume production.
The position involves hands-on technical work plus cross-functional collaboration with process, integration, reliability, packaging and test teams to deliver production-ready devices.
Experience Level
Entry-level (new college graduate). Targeted at recent MS or PhD graduates; suitable for candidates with 0β3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive process and device improvements through characterization, testing, design of experiments (DOE), data analysis, and simulation.
- Lead characterization and optimization of MEMS resonator devices to meet manufacturability, reliability, and electrical targets for volume production.
- Collaborate with process, integration, reliability, packaging, and test engineers to diagnose issues and implement improvements.
- Partner with product teams to identify and optimize resonator performance to meet final device specifications.
- Plan and manage schedules, coordinate multiple tasks in parallel, and meet critical deadlines.
- Lead technical discussions, communicate project status clearly, and coordinate across organizational boundaries.

- Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication; ability to plan, drive schedules, and meet deadlines across multiple tasks.
- Must-have: Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and ramp on technical platforms.
- Nice-to-have: Semiconductor device physics coursework and research experience; hands-on experience with MEMS resonators or oscillators.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with process characterization, DOE, data analysis, simulation, and collaboration with reliability/packaging/test teams.
- Nice-to-have: Demonstrated initiative, time-management skills, and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Education Requirements
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. MS/PhD candidates are encouraged. Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0 as listed in the posting.
