Career Accelerator Program - Digital IC Design & DV Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level digital IC design engineer participating in Texas Instruments' Career Accelerator Program (CAP). The role is on the Precision ADC product team working on high-performance delta-sigma ADCs and sensor AFEs; primary focus areas include RTL design, design verification, digital architecture, silicon debug, and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new graduates and early-career engineers). Typical experience: 0–2 years.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Derive digital design requirements from system specifications and close spec gaps with systems teams.
  • Develop digital architectures (e.g., filter design, ARM core integration), A/D control and interfaces, and DFT approaches.
  • Own RTL design and design verification (DV) activities, including technical ownership, schedule planning, and tracking.
  • Lead and participate in design reviews; create required design, verification, and product documentation.
  • Improve design methodologies and collaborate with Design Automation to upgrade tools and flows.
  • Support test and validation teams with test plan generation and reviews; participate in silicon debug, characterization, and qualification support.

Requirements
