Role Summary

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include technical design, verification and collaboration across teams.
- Define, design, model and verify digital circuits to meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets.
- Architect and implement processor subsystems (64-bit DSP/CPU cores, MMU, multicore shared memory and cache coherence).
- Develop and verify CPU simulators, ISA features, and vector processor functionality.
- Perform high-level architecture trade-off analysis to inform design decisions.
- Participate in design reviews and prepare required design and product documentation.
- Supervise/coordinate IC layouts and characterize prototypes; develop test specifications and work with test/product engineering for releases.
- Develop behavioral models and support verification activities.
