Role Summary

This early-career role participates in TI's Career Accelerator Program (CAP) and focuses on digital integrated-circuit architecture and implementation. You will define, design, model and verify digital circuits to meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets.

Typical work includes CPU and DSP processor architecture and verification, development of behavioral and simulator models, memory and coherency system design, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product releases.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities and typical activities:

  • Define and document digital IC design specifications and architectures.
  • Model and verify digital circuits to meet performance, power, cost and schedule goals.
  • Design and implement 64-bit DSP processor cores, MMU and heterogeneous multicore shared memory/cache systems.
  • Develop CPU simulator components, ISA elements, behavioral models and related verification assets.
  • Participate in design reviews and prepare design/product documentation.
  • Characterize prototypes and develop test specifications; coordinate with test/product engineering for releases.
  • Supervise or coordinate IC layout to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate with verification, analog design and other functions to broaden product understanding.
