Career Accelerator Program - Analog Design Engineer (MS/PhD)

Role Summary

Entry-level analog integrated-circuit design role within Texas Instruments' Career Accelerator Program (CAP). The role focuses on designing, simulating, implementing, and documenting analog, digital and/or RF ICs across product areas such as audio, imaging, high-speed interfaces, clocking, medical, automotive, power management and more.

Experience Level

Entry-level / new graduate program. Intended for candidates with a Master’s or PhD; no specific prior years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include hands-on front-end and system-level design activities, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to downstream manufacturing and test phases.

  • Define, design, model, simulate and document analog, digital and RF integrated circuits.
  • Perform front-end design tasks: schematic capture, functional and parametric simulation, design iteration.
  • Support IC layout activities and run post-layout extracted simulations.
  • Participate in bench characterization, final test, and failure analysis to validate silicon.
  • Collaborate with verification, digital design, test and product teams; communicate design intent and results.
  • Apply training and on-the-job learning provided by the CAP to accelerate technical and professional development.

Education Requirements

Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is required.
