Camera Systems Engineer
Role Summary
Work on systems-level research, design, development, simulation, and validation for camera-related software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions. Collaborate across functional teams within engineering to meet system-level requirements and support product development.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Preferred: 1+ year of relevant industry experience (experience in a large matrixed organization is a plus).
Responsibilities
Support systems engineering tasks across definition, implementation, and verification of camera systems.
- Assist in system-level research, design, development, simulation, and validation for software, hardware, architecture, and algorithms.
- Support functional analysis to derive requirements, interfaces, and standards for hardware and software.
- Contribute to system-level design activities: requirements, interface definition, functional and performance specifications, and implementation planning.
- Implement and test features; verify system accuracy and performance through testing and debugging.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and triage of system-level issues and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to complete project work.

Must-have: Practical understanding of systems-level engineering tasks (requirements, interfaces, functional/performance definitions), ability to assist in design and validation, and effective verbal and written communication.

Nice-to-have: Experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred).

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (as stated in the minimum qualifications).
