Role Summary

Provide technical sales, consulting, and customer-facing services for Calibre physical verification tools. Work with customers to propose and implement verification and design-enablement solutions, and coordinate deliveries with the worldwide consulting team.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical sales and customer engagements for Calibre tools, solution proposals, and project coordination.

• Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and on-site consulting for Calibre physical verification tools.
• Assess customer needs and propose tailored product/solution implementations.
• Manage delivery of work produced by other teams and act as customer liaison.
• Collect customer feedback to improve services and solutions.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales engagements, including documentation and technical reporting.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications.

• Practical experience in at least one area: layout design, design enablement, resolution enhancement technologies, or design-technology co-optimization.
• Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1) and ability to read and write technical documents in English; comfortable with technical email communication in English.
• Proficiency in TCL and Python scripting on Linux environments.
• Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and set/manage customer expectations.

Nice-to-have:

• Analog design or digital implementation experience.
• Knowledge of digital implementation flows and design-for-test.
• Experience in technical sales or support at an EDA vendor or distributor.
• Familiarity with advanced process technologies.

Education Requirements

Technical college (kōtō senmon gakkō) graduate or university graduate or higher. Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 level required; English technical reading and email communication expected.
