Role Summary

The CAD Layout Design Engineer will be part of the "Layout Methodology" team focused on enhancing layout creation and productivity for NVIDIA's digital IP, such as SRAM layouts and custom analog layout blocks.

Experience Level

Senior Level - Requires 5+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth studies of new technology for layout creation.
• Creating digital IP for layout work including PCELL creation and productivity scripts.
• Coordinating analysis of new technologies into practical guidelines.
• Investigation of next-generation tools and applications of machine learning for layout design.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• BE/M-Tech in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with proven project cycle and tape-out experience in SRAM/Analog layout design.
• Experience with advanced technology nodes (5, 3, or 2 nanometers).
• Proficiency in Cadence SKILL language.
• Experience in PCELL development.
• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, and Shell.
• Excellent social, presentation, and communication skills.

Education Requirements

BE/M-Tech in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent experience is required.
