CAD Engineer – ASIC Design Flow
Work on CAD/EDA engineering to support the RTL-to-GDSII ASIC design flow for next-generation satellite communications (TeraWave) at Blue Origin. The role focuses on maintaining flows, tooling, PDKs, automation, and data management to enable timely tapeouts.
Collaborate with designers, verification engineers, and foundry partners to integrate and validate PDKs, improve designer productivity, and document and train teams on CAD processes.
Senior — 10+ years of CAD/EDA engineering experience.
Key duties include maintaining the full ASIC design flow, supporting tooling and designers, and improving automation and data management.
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
Nice-to-have: prior collaboration with foundries, experience improving automation and designer workflows, and training/documentation experience.
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (as stated in the source).
