C++/Python Software Engineer

Role Summary

Join a team developing AI-accelerated simulation technologies for electro-thermal, electromagnetic, and structural analysis. The role owns components across the full stack-from C++ desktop applications to Python APIs and ML training/inference pipelines.

Work at the intersection of scientific computing, machine learning, and 3D visualization to deliver end-to-end simulation acceleration workflows and cross-platform software.

Experience Level

Entry-level (1–3 years of software development experience).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain features in a C++ desktop application and Python APIs.
• Build and scale ML pipelines for data generation, training, evaluation, and inference.
• Develop AI-powered workflows to accelerate and optimize simulations.
• Ensure cross-platform support and maintain software on Linux and Windows.
• Collaborate with simulation, ML, and application engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

Requirements

Core technical must-haves and useful additions.

Must-have:

• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with Qt or a comparable desktop UI framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining cross-platform applications on Linux and Windows.
• Familiarity with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with 3D geometry processing, mesh handling, or scientific/3D visualization.
• Knowledge of thermal, electromagnetic, electrical, or related engineering simulation domains.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience developing scientific computing, CAD, or EDA applications.
• Familiarity with finite element methods, computational physics, or PDE-based simulations.
• Experience deploying ML models to production, GPU programming, or distributed training.
• Experience with high-performance computing, surrogate modeling, or physics-informed ML.
• Familiarity with modern engineering testing frameworks and development workflows.

Education Requirements

MS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
