Associate Project Manager, Project/Program Management (Engineering)

Role Summary

Manage the end-to-end PCB manufacturing ordering process for ATE and characterization boards, from fabrication and kitting through assembly. Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to secure quotations, place orders, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on accurate order data management, follow-through across multiple handoffs, and proactive risk identification to meet delivery commitments.

Entry-level. 0–2 years of relevant working experience; Graduate job.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include vendor selection, procurement routing, order placement, and progress monitoring to meet delivery and cycle-time targets.

  • Review new-hire/assigned projects for complete documentation and hardware complexity; use historical orders to assess readiness.
  • Select vendors for RFQs based on past performance, capability, complexity, and urgency.
  • Perform cost reviews and validate purchase requests.
  • Prepare and route electronic requisitions (ereq) with all required items and documentation.
  • Place orders with vendors once PO is available and files are final and ready for build.
  • Actively monitor project progress; coordinate with vendors, project owners, and production planning to resolve issues and outstanding queries.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to cycle-time targets.
  • Manage invoice settlement to avoid aging invoices and payment delays.

Requirements

Key skills and practical requirements for successful performance in this role.

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, manufacturing order coordination, or project support.
  • Experience with vendor management, RFQs, purchase orders, and tracking order status.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple handoffs and timelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and run vendor meetings.
  • Nice-to-have: Power BI or advanced Excel skills to support reporting and analytics.

Education Requirements

Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering (BS level). Not specified whether equivalent experience is accepted.
