Associate Engineer, SW Systems Design Engineering
Role Summary
Embedded software engineer role on the Security Product & Technology Software team, focused on ADI's Unified SDK and cryptography libraries. The position is based at ADI's Bilisim Vadisi office in Istanbul and works within an international development team delivering security software for customer products.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career (new graduate).
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include design, implementation, verification, and maintenance of embedded security software and cryptography components.
- Maintain and enhance ADI security solutions and cryptography libraries.
- Plan, architect, and implement crypto/hash functionality that meets secure payment and industry standards.
- Develop embedded system software and associated tests and testing tools.
- Work with quality assurance to satisfy certification criteria and ensure secure integration.
- Debug, integrate, document, and validate firmware and security stacks.
- Collaborate with a geographically distributed engineering team and communicate technical status in English and Turkish.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes; preferred items listed separately.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience in embedded software development.
- Hands-on experience implementing public/private-key cryptosystems and knowledge of common attacks on crypto systems.
- Strong mathematical background and interest in following cryptography developments.
- Ability to work independently in a global, diverse software development environment.
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Turkish.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
- Preferred: C/C++ and Python experience; embedded development on ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V; knowledge of secure coding practices and CI tools such as Jenkins.
Education Requirements
Minimum: Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics. No other degrees or certifications are specified in the posting.
