Associate Engineer, Product Engineering (Manufacturing)

Role Summary

Support product and test engineering activities for manufacturing operations. The role focuses on sustaining production, improving yield and test efficiency, material disposition, failure analysis, and coordinating new product releases with cross-functional teams.

This position is suitable for an early-career engineer seeking hands-on semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

  • Provide manufacturing support and sustaining for test processes and equipment.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives such as yield improvements and test-time reductions.
  • Manage material disposition and perform manufacturing control hit validation.
  • Collect and analyze product performance data and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams for new product releases.
  • Perform failure analysis support and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Support documentation and continuous improvement activities in manufacturing.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes:

  • Proficient at compiling, assimilating, and organizing printed and electronic information.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when given detailed guidance.
  • Willingness to work a shifting schedule to meet operational needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-functional team; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with semiconductor test and/or bench equipment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required or strongly preferred.
