Associate Engineer, Product Engineering (Mfg.)

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role supporting manufacturing and product engineering activities for semiconductor products. The role works with cross-functional teams to sustain production, improve yield and reduce test cost, validate manufacturing controls, and support new product releases.

Based in Cavite, this position contributes to operational continuity and product quality in a global manufacturing environment.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Graduate). Suitable for recent graduates or engineers with limited professional experience (typically 0–2 years).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on supporting manufacturing operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide manufacturing support and sustaining activities to resolve production issues.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities (yield improvements, test-time reductions).
  • Manage material disposition and ensure correct handling of materials.
  • Perform manufacturing control hit validation and related validation tasks.
  • Collect and analyze product performance data to monitor quality and identify trends.
  • Support new product releases by coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams to meet release requirements and timelines.
  • Provide failure analysis support to investigate and resolve production issues.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
