Role Summary

Join the Failure Analysis Engineering team to support failure analysis activities, tooling, and software used to diagnose semiconductor and board-level issues. The role focuses on meeting cycle-time and quality targets while working with cross-functional engineering teams at the Cavite GTC facility.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining software and tools, executing failure analysis tasks, and coordinating updates with stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain Windows-based applications and scripts (Python, PowerApps, .NET/C#, VB, ASP, HTML, SQL).
• Use basic Linux commands and scripting for tool automation and data tasks.
• Support Cadence Virtuoso and LVS run tools and signoff tools (Calibre, Dracula, Assura, Hercules, etc.).
• Document projects, processes, and test results.
• Meet failure analysis cycle-time and quality commitments.
• Provide timely status updates to stakeholders and requestors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve failures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Attend relevant training, seminars, and symposiums for professional development.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional capabilities; nice-to-have items indicated.

• Must: Strong technical understanding of passive components, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers.
• Must: Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Must: Good analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to read and comprehend circuit schematics at wafer or board level.
• Must: Experience in software development on Windows and application development using Python, .NET (C#), HTML, SQL, or similar languages.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl) for automation.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso and LVS/run tools and signoff tools (Calibre, Dracula, Assura, Hercules).
• Nice to have: Background in semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly, test, or design.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of analog/digital circuitry and mixed-signal design.

Education Requirements

BS in Electronics Engineering or BS in Computer Engineering required.
