Role Summary

Join the Automotive Cabin Experience Istanbul Design Center as part of the GMSL SerDes group to design high-speed analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit layouts for automotive applications. You will work with analog, digital and EDA teams on complex mixed-signal ICs using Bulk CMOS and FinFET technologies.

Role includes collaboration across global teams and occasional travel (~10%).

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate role. Suitable for early-career engineers (approximately 0–3 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on block-level layout, verification and cross-team collaboration to prepare circuits for tapeout.

• Perform block layout using Cadence Virtuoso XL and follow established layout flows.
• Execute block-level layout verification using Calibre or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with design engineers to address technical trade-offs and finalize circuits toward tapeout.
• Work with EDA engineers: create clear JIRA/footprint tickets and track issues to resolution.
• Deliver high-quality layouts on schedule with strong attention to productivity and detail.

Must-have

• Practical exposure to IC layout and verification workflows (through projects, internships or coursework).
• Ability to collaborate across analog, digital and EDA teams and communicate technical issues clearly in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver work to schedule.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in semiconductor layout design and verification (Cadence/Virtuoso, Calibre).
• Experience with high-speed, low-power analog/mixed-signal layouts (PLLs, high-speed transmitters/receivers).
• Understanding of semiconductor physics and layout effects; experience with Bulk CMOS and FinFET process technologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with specialization in IC Design / VLSI is indicated as the expected background. The posting targets graduate/early-career applicants; relevant degrees in electrical engineering, microelectronics or related technical fields are appropriate.
