Associate Design Evaluation Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role within Analog Devices' design evaluation team focused on hardware and software bench evaluations under close supervision. The position supports testing, data collection, documentation, and development of foundational debugging and analysis skills.
Experience Level
Entry-level; 0–2 years of relevant experience. New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
Primary tasks are performed under supervision and focus on executing established evaluation procedures and supporting documentation.
- Assist with basic hardware and software bench evaluations under supervision.
- Execute established test methods and procedures while learning evaluation workflows.
- Collect, organize, and verify measurement data.
- Support documentation of test setups, results, and evaluation processes.
- Develop foundational skills in debugging and analysis tools.
- Collaborate with team members on well-defined engineering tasks.
Requirements
Must-have technical abilities and role expectations.
- Foundational understanding of engineering principles relevant to silicon evaluation.
- Ability to learn and apply basic evaluation methodologies under supervision.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in data collection and organization.
- Basic capability to support technical documentation of evaluation processes and results.
- Willingness to develop skills with debugging and analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 0–2 years of relevant experience accepted; new graduates are welcome. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
