Associate Application Engineer — Taipei

Role Summary

Support verification and testing of power ICs and evaluation boards (EVBs) to validate product performance and generate test data. Coordinate PCB SMT requests, manage lab equipment and inventory, perform PCB/EVB rework, and handle related administrative tasks.

This role sits on the applications/engineering team working on power IC verification, test-procedure development, and lab operations for the Taiwan site.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Associate). Years of experience not specified; typically 0–3 years for this level.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Execute power IC verification and testing on EVBs and customer system boards (including VCORE spreadsheets and power IC roadtests).
• Define and design test procedures; document guidelines and test results.
• Rework MPS EVBs and customer system boards; replace SMD/DIP components as needed.
• Coordinate PCB SMT requests for the Taiwan teams.
• Manage lab equipment, components, and inventory; keep the lab clean and organized.
• Perform administrative tasks such as purchasing, sample delivery coordination, and routine paperwork.
