Execute verification and testing of power ICs on evaluation boards (EVB) and customer system boards, design test procedures, manage lab equipment and SMT/board rework coordination, and handle related administrative tasks. Collaborate with applications engineers to produce test data and guideline documents.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include hands-on testing, test procedure development, lab and sample management, and routine administrative support.

• Execute power IC verification and testing on EVB and customer system boards (including platform-specific tests such as VCORE measurements).
• Define and document test procedures and guidelines.
• Rework EVB and customer system boards; replace SMD/DIP components as required.
• Manage PCB SMT requests and coordinate with Taiwan teams.
• Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and a clean lab environment.
• Perform administrative duties related to purchases, sample delivery, and routine paperwork.
• Collect, summarize, and report test data.

Requirements

Must-have practical skills and tools for the role.

• Basic knowledge of electronic components and hands-on board-level work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic English communication skills.
• Practical soldering/rework experience for SMD and DIP components.
• Ability to manage lab equipment and keep laboratory environment organized.
• Administrative capability for purchase/sample tracking and routine paperwork.
• Nice-to-have: experience with power IC verification, EVB testing, or platform-specific test procedures (e.g., Intel/AMD VCORE spreadsheets).
