Job Title

Associate Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

An entry-level analog design engineer role supporting the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Work under mentorship with cross-functional teams to implement sensor interfaces, data converters, filters, and power distribution while building core analog design skills.

Experience Level

Entry-level - 0–2 years of relevant experience. Internship or project experience in analog/mixed-signal design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, simulation, validation, documentation, and debugging of analog and mixed-signal ICs while following standard practices and participating in team reviews.

  • Assist in designing analog and mixed-signal circuits, including sensor interfaces, data converters, multiplexers, active/passive filters, and power distribution systems.
  • Perform simulations and basic validation testing to verify designs against specifications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and test reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and cross-functional meetings.
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting under senior guidance.
  • Focus on learning and applying fundamental analog design methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 10%).

Requirements

Essential technical skills and hands-on abilities for successful performance in this role.

  • Basic knowledge of analog circuit design (amplifiers, filters, data converters).
  • Foundational understanding of mixed-signal IC integration.
  • Proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers.
  • Basic understanding of CMOS technology principles.
  • Fundamental knowledge of integrated circuit layout considerations.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Internship or project experience in analog/mixed-signal design is noted as a plus. No other degrees, certifications, or explicit "equivalent experience" statements were specified.
