ASIC Verification Engineer - Acacia (Hybrid)
Role Summary
Technical lead engineer responsible for verification of high-speed coherent optical ASICs used in 100G–1.6T systems. The role sits on the Acacia team at Cisco and focuses on producing high-quality verification plans, testbenches, and novel verification solutions while mentoring teammates.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week at Cisco’s Maynard, MA office.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning, executing, and improving ASIC verification for complex designs.
- Lead and develop detailed verification test plans and strategies.
- Design and develop verification testbenches and infrastructure.
- Apply advanced verification techniques and methodologies to complex ASICs.
- Supervise and coordinate timely execution of test plans by the team.
- Review verification code and coverage metrics; drive quality improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers on verification methods and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt new test technologies and processes.
Requirements
