Job Title

ASIC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Clocks team to verify clocking and reset logic for SoC and GPU ASIC products. The role focuses on pre-silicon validation, coverage-driven verification, and driving fixes to ensure reliable productization across data center, consumer, automotive, and AI applications.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typically requires 3+ years of ASIC design verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include planning, implementing, and executing verification for clocking and reset structures across Tegra and GPU platforms.

  • Own end-to-end validation of clocking structures in Tegra and GPU products.
  • Develop test plans, automation, validation flows, and coverage metrics; execute tests and report results.
  • Identify, debug, and drive fixes to productize clock designs.
  • Design scalable verification solutions usable across blocks and systems.
  • Apply industry-standard verification methodologies and tools (SystemVerilog, UVM, formal verification, coverage analysis).
  • Implement supporting tools and scripts in C++, Python, and Perl.
  • Collaborate with clocks architecture and design teams and coordinate with internal/external groups across time zones.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of ASIC design verification experience.
  • Strong understanding of logic design and architecture.
  • Experience with constraint-random verification, UVM, formal methods, and coverage-driven verification.
  • Exposure to block-level and system-level verification methodologies and flows.
  • Proficient coding skills in SystemVerilog and C++; scripting in Python or Perl.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and drive projects to completion.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience automating verification tasks and developing reusable methodologies.
