Role Summary
The ASIC Physical Design Sr Engineer at Synopsys is responsible for tackling complex challenges in next-generation silicon design. You will collaborate with teams globally, ensuring high-performance silicon chips while being part of a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Implement and integrate state-of-the-art DDR IPs at advanced technology nodes.
- Drive timing closure for high-frequency designs (above ~4GHz).
- Collaborate with local and US-based teams in technical discussions.
- Integrate mixed-signal hard macro IPs.
- Design and build efficient clock trees, ensuring tight skew balancing.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to methodology improvements.
- Support best practices in design processes for placement and routing.
- Mentor junior engineers and engage in knowledge sharing initiatives.
Requirements
The following are required for this position:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ASIC physical design.
- Proficiency in physical design tools such as Synopsys ICC2, PrimeTime.
- Understanding of timing closure and clock tree synthesis.
- Experience with DDR interface implementation or mixed-signal IP integration is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python).
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
