ASIC Engineer (Hybrid)
Role Summary
Join a hybrid Cisco engineering team responsible for defining, designing, and verifying ASICs and ASIC subsystems for high-volume platforms. Work cross-functionally to meet power, performance, and area targets and support block implementation through tapeout and integration.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate on the definition and architectural design of high-performance ASICs and subsystems.
- Develop, own, and debug complex code; document functional and user specifications.
- Deliver block-level flow from specification through tapeout and resolve block-level issues.
- Write and execute test plans and testbenches for analog/mixed-signal products.
- Lead design verification activities and conduct reviews for owned code.
- Own physical design for multiple blocks or a single high-complexity block and guide RTL/RDL changes.
- Drive signal and power integrity considerations for ASIC integration and validate subsystems.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Proven ASIC design and verification experience, including analog/mixed-signal products.
- Strong debugging skills in complex code and system environments.
- Experience writing and executing test plans and testbenches.
- Knowledge of physical design and signal/power integrity principles.
- Experience leading verification activities and performing code reviews.
Education Requirements
