Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute scan insertion and ATPG flows for complex ASIC designs.
- Perform scan static timing analysis (scan STA) and validate timing closure for test paths.
- Collaborate with RTL and verification teams to integrate DFT requirements early in the design cycle.
- Analyze and resolve DFT-related issues using tools such as Spyglass DFT.
- Develop and improve automation scripts and design/test flows to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Share expertise and mentor junior engineers on DFT best practices.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with DFT methodologies, source indicates 3β6 years working with scan insertion and ATPG on complex ASICs.
- Proficiency with EDA tools for DFT such as Spyglass DFT and scan STA analysis suites.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design, RTL coding, and verification principles.

- Scripting skills to automate flows (TCL, Perl, Python).
