ASIC Digital Design Senior Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification of complex ASIC blocks and systems on the ASIC Digital Design team in Yerevan. Responsible for UVM testbench development, verification planning, coverage analysis, application of formal/SVA techniques, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-performance, power-efficient ASICs.
Experience Level
Senior-level - requires 10+ years of ASIC digital design and UVM verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead verification of complex ASIC blocks and full-chip systems to meet specifications and performance goals.
- Define verification requirements and partner with RTL designers and cross-functional teams.
- Design, build, and maintain UVM testbenches, agents, and verification environments.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans; implement and analyze functional and coverage metrics.
- Apply SVA and formal verification techniques where appropriate.
- Use advanced EDA tools and methodologies to optimize design performance and power.
- Review verification code and test plans, promote best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- 10+ years of ASIC digital design and UVM verification experience.
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM proficiency.
- Experience with SVA and formal verification methodologies.
- Proficient in industry-standard EDA verification tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in C, Python, and scripting (TCL/Perl).
- Deep understanding of high-performance interface IP protocols and their ASIC implementations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills; proven ability to lead verification efforts.
Nice-to-have:
- Background in RTL design.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve verification productivity.
