Role Summary

Senior architect role on Synopsys' ASIC design team in Austin responsible for defining RTL architectures and driving RTL design and verification for complex chip- and block-level digital designs.

The role focuses on IO and subsystem protocols (DDR, PCIe, CXL, UAL, UCIe), cross-functional integration, and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality silicon and software content.

Responsibilities

Principal duties include:

• Define and develop ASIC RTL design and verification at both chip and block levels.
• Create and execute design plans for complex digital designs, with emphasis on DDR, PCIe, CXL, UAL, and UCIe protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and correct system behavior.
• Employ advanced design and verification methodologies and tools to meet quality and performance goals.
