Job Title

ASIC Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the silicon engineering team to develop and execute SystemVerilog/UVM verification for complex IP blocks and SoCs. The engineer will build and maintain verification environments, implement testcases, debug RTL and testbench failures, and drive coverage closure to meet project milestones.

Experience Level

Mid-level (5+ years of ASIC/SoC design verification experience)

Responsibilities

The engineer will own verification environments and flows and work closely with RTL designers to close functional and coverage gaps.

  • Maintain and extend reusable SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments.
  • Develop directed and constrained-random testcases to verify functionality and corner cases.
  • Perform regression runs, debug failures, and perform root-cause analysis of RTL and testbench issues.
  • Drive functional and code coverage closure to meet project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain assertions (SVA) and functional coverage items.
  • Collaborate with RTL designers to reproduce and resolve design issues.
  • Use version control and Linux-based simulation workflows for verification development.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

  • 5+ years of ASIC/SoC design verification experience.
  • Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Experience with constrained-random verification and coverage-driven methodologies.
  • Strong RTL and testbench debugging skills using waveform and simulation tools.
  • Experience developing assertions (SVA) and defining functional coverage.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and Linux development environments.

Nice-to-have (preferred) protocol and subsystem experience:

  • PCIe (Gen4/Gen5/Gen6)
  • Ethernet (100G/200G/400G/800G)
  • AXI4 / AHB / APB, DMA
  • HBM/DDR memory subsystems, NoC / interconnect fabrics
  • RDMA / RoCE, cache-coherent protocols

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
