Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled ASIC Design Engineer focused on GPU and ML Shader Core development. This position involves working in a dynamic team responsible for designing, micro-architecting, and delivering pivotal GPU and ML/AI shader IP tailored for various products. The role demands innovative thinking and a willingness to exceed performance, area, and power targets.
Experience Level
We are looking for candidates with a solid background in ASIC design, particularly with knowledge in micro-architecture and RTL development using Verilog, along with practical experience in GPU/CPU/ML/AI pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with block architects and ASIC designers to define micro-architecture and assess architectural trade-offs concerning features and system limitations.
- Own the complete design cycle, including specifying micro-architecture parameters, implementing RTL, and ensuring a fully verified and timing-clean design.
- Work closely with design verification engineers to create test plans, debug functional or performance failures, and ensure coverage.
- Collaborate with the Physical Design team to meet timing, area, and power requirements effectively.
Requirements
- Proficient in Verilog, with experience in GPU/AI/ML architectural and logical aspects.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASIC design flow, including verification and logic synthesis.
- Familiar with Digital systems, VLSI design, and fundamental computer architecture concepts.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
