ARM CPU Subsystem Design Engineer

Role Summary

The ARM CPU Subsystem Design Engineer will be involved in the development of CPU subsystems within automotive SoCs, specifically the R-Car series. This role supports the integration of various SoC IP components and contributes to the development process through technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Development of CPU subsystems for automotive SoCs.
• Engagement in specification discussions, logical design, verification, debugging, and evaluation.
• Integration and adjustment of both internal and external IP components.
• Participation in design reviews and failure analysis to enhance quality.
• Collaboration with design centers in Japan, India, and Vietnam within a global development structure.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• Practical experience in digital circuit design or verification within SoC or IP development.
• Understanding of design specifications and technical documents.
• Experience in technical discussions and collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Ability to read and write technical documents in English and communicate with global teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

• Design or verification experience of CPU, cache, memory peripherals, and bus/interconnect.
• Experience with integrated external IP designs and technical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of power separation design and physical design (P&R).
• Experience in failure analysis and countermeasure planning within SoC development.
• Development experience of high-quality and reliable automotive SoCs.
• Interest in expanding the scope of involvement in overall development activities.
• Japanese language skills at a conversational level.
