Role Summary
Technical authority for the AI Data Innovation Pipeline covering PCIe, storage and memory connectivity. Lead a team of senior architects and engineers to define product architecture, specifications, and enable execution across silicon, board, software and system levels.

Responsibilities
Lead architecture definition, product planning and cross-organizational execution for PCIe switch and storage controller product lines.
- Act as technical authority for AI, GPU and standard server architectures related to PCIe, storage and memory connectivity.
- Lead and mentor senior architects and engineers; provide technical leadership and direction.
- Define product concepts and produce system, board, silicon, software and performance specification documents.
- Develop and drive product roadmaps with GM and product marketing.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to initiate and support development and validation activities through product lifecycle.
- Engage with OEMs, ODMs, hyperscalers and ecosystem partners at executive and technical levels.
- Support business and marketing teams with technical guidance and customer-facing interactions.
Requirements
Core must-have skills and experience for the role, followed by some desirable qualifications.
- Minimum ~18 years industry experience with at least 6 years in management or leadership of senior technical staff.
- Proven leadership of senior architects and engineering teams on complex system products.
- Strong background in AI XPU, GPU server and standard server system architectures; product roadmap development.
- Experience specifying and delivering system, board, silicon and software designs across full product lifecycle.
- Deep technical knowledge of PCIe, PCIe switching and complex switching topologies.
- Experience with storage interfaces and protocols (SAS, SATA, PCIe NVMe) and storage devices (HDD, SSD).
- Familiarity with data protection technologies (RAID, erasure coding, replication) and management interfaces/protocols (I2C/I3C/USB, MCTP, PLDM, Redfish).
- Knowledge of security mechanisms (secure boot, SHA, RSA, ECDSA, post-quantum considerations, SPDM, DICE) and integrated telemetry/debug capabilities.
- Understanding of memory technologies (HBM, DDR, Flash) and system performance considerations.

Nice-to-have: experience influencing industry standards and prior engagement with hyperscalers/OEMs at technical and executive levels.
