Role Summary
The Applications Engineering, Staff Engineer role involves engaging with customers to address their physical verification challenges, providing support for the IC Validator product, and driving product enhancements through collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging directly with customers to understand their physical verification challenges.
- Supporting the sale and adoption of the IC Validator product.
- Managing multiple customer activities, including product demonstrations and evaluations.
- Conducting training sessions and offering ongoing technical support.
- Collaborating with account teams to develop customized flows.
- Creating and maintaining flows in TCL/Python, along with DRC/LVS/FILL/PERC rule decks.
- Driving tool enhancement through collaboration with R&D and sales.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- BS or MS degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in physical verification flows.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools like IC Validator, Calibre, or Assura.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, TCL, Perl, or shell scripting.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
Education Requirements
BS or MS degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
