Role Summary
Provide technical applications engineering and consulting to customers in Korea and the Asia‑Pacific region, focusing on signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) using ANSYS simulation tools. Work spans pre‑sales demonstrations, post‑sales technical support, training, and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include direct customer engagement, technical demonstrations, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Engage with customers to diagnose and solve SI/PI/EMC issues using HFSS, SIwave, Q3D, and Simplorer (TwinBuilder).
- Lead technical demos and benchmarking tailored to customers' real design problems.
- Provide post‑sales technical support and on‑site consulting to deploy sustainable simulation workflows.
- Train customers and internal application engineers on advanced simulation methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with product development to relay field feedback, test betas, and validate fixes.
- Support sales by translating technical challenges into value propositions that aid deal closure.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and working behaviors.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on SI, PI, or EMC experience in design, test, or product development environments.
- Expert-level practical experience with ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, and Q3D - able to set up, run, and debug complex simulations independently.
- Proven customer-facing experience (field engineer, applications engineer, or technical consultant).
- Fluent written and spoken English for technical reports and presentations.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across Korea and the broader Asia‑Pacific region.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; able to diagnose issues quickly and communicate solutions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: experience with other electromagnetic simulation or ECAD tools and prior competitive benchmarking experience.
Education Requirements
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field (the posting specifies Ph.D. or M.Sc.).
