Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, diagnosing complex issues and delivering timely solutions.
• Develop, validate, and optimize tool flows and methodologies for ASIC/SoC implementation.
• Create and maintain scripts, testbenches, and automation (e.g., Python, Tcl) to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with product engineering and R&D to identify defects, drive fixes, and improve product quality.
• Deliver technical training, demos, and design reviews to customer teams.
• Mentor and guide junior applications engineers and contribute to knowledge-base content.

Requirements

Core qualifications and preferred experience:

• Must-have: Proven experience with ASIC/SoC design flows and EDA tool usage; strong Linux proficiency; scripting skills (Python, Tcl); strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Synopsys toolchains, DFT or RTL/verification background, familiarity with performance tuning and large-scale production flows.
