Role Summary
Provide senior-level place-and-route (P&R) technical support and enablement to customers and field teams. Work closely with product development, support, and customers to diagnose issues, deliver solutions, and improve product usability and performance.
Experience Level
Senior - typically requires over 10 years of relevant experience in P&R and timing analysis.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Provide place-and-route (P&R) technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and software.
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
- Work with development teams to identify and resolve product issues and drive improvements in support processes.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 10+ years' experience in place-and-route using Innovus, IC Compiler II, or Fusion Compiler, including detailed timing analysis.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows and software tooling.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
