Role Summary

Senior applications engineer supporting key foundry partners from a Customer Application Services team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Responsible for runset programming, implementation, post-sales and pre-sales technical support, and ensuring Synopsys EDA tools integrate and perform to customer requirements.

This role requires hands-on technical work with customers and internal teams to drive product adoption and improve runset and installation processes.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Manage and provide ICV runset support for key foundry partners to ensure product integration and performance.
• Deliver post-sales technical expertise during runset programming, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Translate customer installation requirements into actionable solutions and customize product configurations as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to validate solutions and ensure tools meet specifications.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, answer technical queries, and demonstrate product capabilities to support sales.
• Act as a subject matter expert for EDA tools across verification, place-and-route, design reuse, and physical design topics.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to improve team performance.

Requirements

• Must-have: Basic understanding of the semiconductor design process and ability to map customer requirements to technical solutions.
