Role Summary
Senior program manager in Applications Engineering responsible for planning, tracking, and delivering worldwide foundry runsets for the Synopsys ICV product line. The role coordinates cross‑functional and global teams, foundry partners, and customers to manage schedules, mitigate delivery risk, and ensure on‑time releases.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 10+ years of relevant experience managing technical programs or product delivery.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing schedule, delivery risk, and cross‑team coordination for runset development.
- Plan and monitor delivery risks for worldwide ICV runset development and releases.
- Ensure committed deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.
- Identify delivery risks proactively and propose mitigation plans using global resources and priorities.
- Communicate schedules, risks, and resolution options to stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop and maintain forecasting and tracking systems to provide timely, accurate progress reports and metrics.
- Continuously improve processes to increase productivity, quality, and on‑time delivery.
- Collaborate with runset team members to understand development workflows and dependencies that affect delivery.
Requirements

- Proven program/project management skills with multiple successful technical projects.
- Familiarity with SoC design flows and IC manufacturing processes; experience with foundry interactions preferred.
- Experience working directly with customers and external partners.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to define, track, and communicate metrics that drive production and delivery decisions.
- Experience coordinating global teams and making prioritized trade‑offs between deliverables.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
