Role Summary

This position seeks a highly motivated senior engineer to support the deployment and use of Synopsys EDA products for semiconductor design. The role will focus on static timing analysis (STA), power integrity, and reliability sign-off, involving collaboration with customers in addressing complex technical challenges within cutting-edge design projects.

Experience Level

The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in STA analysis, ECO, and power delivery network (PDN) domains. Expertise in related EDA tools like PrimeTime and PrimeClosure is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support EDA product specifications and contribute to deployment for semiconductor design houses.
  • Engage with customers to identify and resolve design challenges for complex systems-on-chip (SoCs) and advanced 3D integrated circuits (3DICs).
  • Collaborate with development teams to shape the evolution of EDA tools.
  • Deploy and support the Synopsys Seascape platform.
  • Provide consultation on STA, power, and reliability issues across Chip-Package-System at advanced nodes.
  • Address customer queries proactively and offer comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements to improve Synopsys software functionality.
  • Create best practices and technical resources for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in the semiconductor domain, specifically in STA analysis and ECO.
  • Technical support experience in PDN and timing signoff with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in tools like PrimeTime, RHSC, and PrimeClosure.
  • Strong programming skills for workflow automation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct webinars and presentations.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Education Requirements

Formal education credentials in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field are typically required, along with relevant hands-on experience in semiconductor analysis.
