Role Summary

The Principal Engineer in Applications Engineering will be responsible for collaborating with R&D to improve advanced HPC designs and provide support to key customers.

Experience Level

Senior, with over 15 years of experience in synthesis or place and route.

Responsibilities

The role involves various key responsibilities, including:

• Collaborating with R&D teams to drive product development.
• Demonstrating results on advanced CPU/GPU/NPU designs.
• Providing technical support to customers on design challenges.
• Engaging in critical benchmarks and deployments.
• Utilizing Perl and Tcl for automation tasks.
• Keeping up with ASIC design advancements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with P&R tools.
• Proficiency in EDA tools: DC, ICC2, Fusion Compiler.
• Knowledge of ASIC design flow and CAD development.
• Experience with Perl and Tcl scripting.

Education Requirements

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required.
