Role Summary
Lead Synopsys' applications engineering engagements for digital implementation across Japan, focusing on synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and power optimization for advanced-node chip designs. Manage and grow a team of applications engineers, deliver customer-facing technical solutions, and relay field feedback to R&D.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include customer-facing technical leadership, team management, and driving adoption of implementation methodologies.
- Lead customer engagements across Japan to deploy digital design methodologies (synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, power optimization) for advanced nodes.
- Diagnose complex flow bottlenecks and tune tool configurations to meet PPA targets and tapeout schedules.
- Deliver technical training and provide hands-on guidance to customer engineering teams.
- Manage and mentor applications engineering staff, balancing project delivery, technical growth, and customer ownership.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to Synopsys R&D, translating field issues and feature requests into actionable product feedback.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and align Synopsys solutions to customer roadmaps.
- Drive adoption of new capabilities and scale proven methodologies across customer organizations.
