Role Summary

Provide hands-on customer support and enablement for Synopsys digital backend (BE) implementation flows. Work on tool setup, execution, troubleshooting, and flow improvement while collaborating with customers, R&D, and global support teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level - 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include supporting customer implementations and improving backend flows.

• Enable and troubleshoot digital BE design flows for customers.
• Run, analyze, and support Fusion Compiler implementation flows (setup, execution, analysis).
• Advise customers on tool usage, flow best practices, and implementation methodology.
• Work with experienced Application Engineers to learn customer environments and project requirements.
• Analyze design issues and provide practical guidance to resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate, track, and resolve tool or flow-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of backend flows, methodologies, and customer support processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for day-one effectiveness.

• Strong understanding of VLSI concepts and the digital backend design flow.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Fusion Compiler implementation flows.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with or willingness to learn TCL scripting.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn complex tools quickly.
• Clear technical communication and customer-facing skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
