Responsibilities
Deliver technical leadership for emulation-based verification and platform performance.
- Architect custom emulation methodologies (ZeBu) to address high-value customer problems.
- Serve as primary technical contact to debug and resolve issues in emulation flows and methodologies.
- Lead root cause analysis for emulation runtime performance bottlenecks and implement fixes.
- Provide product evaluation and technical support to global emulation customers.
- Work with R&D to define product requirements and validate new tool features based on customer use cases.
- Ensure verification best practices for SoC designs and support software bring-up and platform delivery.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of critical qualifications.
- 15+ years in emulation methodology covering RTL verification through software bring-up.
- Deep expertise in SoC verification, bring-up, and common bus and memory protocols; understanding of OS boot sequences.
- Comprehensive knowledge of emulation and FPGA prototyping architectures, compilation and runtime flows.
- Proven experience debugging emulation platforms and performing root cause analysis for runtime performance issues.
- Proficiency with HDL (Verilog/VHDL), HVL (e/vera/SystemVerilog), C/C++, and Unix; solid understanding of ASIC design flows, VLSI, and CAD engineering concepts.
