Mid-level, with 5-8 years of experience in Physical Verification (PV) within the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for the IC Validator tool.
- Collaborating with foundries to understand process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes for IC Validator runsets using scripting languages.
- Troubleshooting complex layout verification issues.
- Interfacing with customers and field application engineers to gather requirements and provide support.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
- Staying updated on EDA tool advancements and competitive products.
Requirements
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in the Physical Verification domain.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Deep understanding of CMOS layout and ASIC design flows.
- Experience with DRC, LVS, and DFM rule decks.
Education Requirements
A degree in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field is required.
