Role Summary

Serve as the local technical point of contact for silicon photonics (SiPh) testing, supporting customer engagements, demos, and day-to-day testing equipment operations. Act as the technical liaison between customers, the sales team, and US headquarters to align strategy and capture opportunities.

Experience Level

Mid-level - typically 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with probe systems or similar test equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide local technical support and customer-facing testing expertise for SiPh solutions, coordinate with internal teams, and help convert technical engagements into business opportunities.

• Act as local technical point of contact for SiPh testing requirements and market trends.
• Align technical strategy and communications with US headquarters.
• Serve as technical bridge to customers and collaborate with Sales to pursue opportunities.
• Present SiPh testing solutions to prospective customers and support demo activities.
• Manage day-to-day customer SiPh testing equipment application and service operations.
• Deliver testing solutions, support customer issues, and prepare internal escalation summaries.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to resolve customer technical issues.

Requirements

Key skills and experience required or preferred for the role.

• Must-have: 3–5 years hands-on experience with probe system tools and wafer probing.
• Must-have: Practical familiarity with probe stations, ATE/testing, test probes, and silicon photonics testing concepts.
• Must-have: Fluent English for verbal, email, and report communication.
• Must-have: Project management experience and ability to work with management, sales, and global teams.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude toward technical obstacles.
• Nice-to-have: Experience at an equipment vendor or in R&D/HVM fabs.
• Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge of laser/fiber operation and principles.
• Nice-to-have: DOE setup capability for problem-solving and experiment design.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Physics with specialization in Optical Engineering or Silicon Photonics is preferred. The posting also allows equivalent practical experience or a similar technical background in lieu of the listed degrees.
